Joss Stone has given her first interview since two men were charged over an alleged plot to rob and assault her, insisting she is glad "they didn't manage it."
Junior Bradshaw, 30, and Kevin Liverpool, 33, both from Manchester, north England, were arrested last week after they were allegedly seen acting suspiciously in a car close to the singer's country home in Devon, south west England.
A police search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered an arsenal of implements including a Samurai sword, balaclavas and knives, as well as maps of the area, and notes reportedly referring to Stone by name. Both men have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm, although they have yet to enter pleas.
Stone issued a statement shortly after the news broke to assure fans she was OK, and she's now spoken out about the controversy in an interview with PopEater.com.
When asked about the alleged plot, Stone replies, "Oh I'm fine, thank you though, that's very sweet. They didn't manage it so it's all good."
She also spoke about a more positive subject - her recent attendance at Britain's royal wedding - revealing she felt lucky to have been invited by Prince William and his bride, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
Stone adds, "That was fun... I was quite flattered actually to be invited."
