Reality TV star Heidi Montag is putting her body under more pressure following her shocking cosmetic transformation in 2009 - she works out for 14 hours a day.
The Hills personality shocked viewers of the last season of the hit show when she debuted her new look, for which she famously underwent 10 procedures in a day, a decision she later admitted regretting.
However, Montag has not stopped chasing the body beautiful, and she embarked on a punishing exercise routine to get ready for a Las Vegas pool party she hosted with Hugh Hefner's ex-fiancée Crystal Harris on Saturday.
She tells UsMagazine.com, "I've been working out from, like, 5am to 7pm for two months now. I've been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape. And I was actually a lot overweight. It was the most I've ever been because I've kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape."
"I've been running a lot, and I've been doing weights. When you work out, you boost your metabolism."
And Montag reveals she has only recently been allowed to start exercising because of her surgery overhaul: "My breasts, because they were so big, really needed some time. So I'm just starting to work out again after my surgery. Sometimes I get shooting pains, but I hear that's normal."
