Comedian Tracy Morgan met with homeless gay teens in New York on Friday, two weeks after upsetting activists with homophobic comments during a stand-up routine in Nashville, Tennessee.
The 30 Rock star has apologized for his remarks and agreed to meet with youths disowned by upset parents as a way to show gay rights groups he truly was sorry.
The meeting at the Ali Forney Center was arranged by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Morgan plans to return to Nashville next week to apologize directly to the fans he offended with his homophobic remarks.
