Disney star Selena Gomez has bounced back from a mystery illness and assured fans she's "feeling much better" following her brief hospitalization last week.
The singer/actress was admitted to a Los Angeles medical center on Thursday after complaining of nausea and headaches following a taped appearance on TV's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She spent the night under doctors' care and underwent a series of routine tests before being discharged on Friday.
Gomez, who was snapped returning to the hospital on Saturday, has yet to reveal the nature of her illness, but took to her Facebook.com page on Sunday to thank fans for their support. She wrote, "I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the get well wishes. I love you guys so much."
And she went online again on Monday morning to assure devotees she was on the road to recovery and would be resuming her promotional duties for her new movie Monte Carlo.
In the post, she writes, "Feeling much better, thank you all for being so understanding. Can't wait to see you all today at Santa Monica Place for the Monte Carlo kick off."
The event at California's Santa Monica Place Center Plaza was originally scheduled for Friday but was postponed until Monday as a result of Gomez's illness.
