Country music star Shania Twain spoke of her joy as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, calling the honor a "miracle".
The You're Still the One hit-maker received the 2,442nd plaque on the famous Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk in Los Angeles, and she was joined by actress Bo Derek, who served as the event's guest speaker.
Twain also spoke at the ceremony and revealed she was surprised by her Walk of Fame induction, telling the crowd, "I mean why is a girl from Timmons, Ontario standing here, getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? I really don't know. Where I come from and where I am today... it's a small miracle, to be honest, that I am here today...
"That is the truth of being a star. Our job is to make you happy and entertain you, come thick or thin - and I can tell you that I do that with the greatest of pleasure. Thank you all so much!"
