Natalie Imbruglia Backs Canadian Seal Cull Ban
Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia is urging officials in Canada to end the country's controversial seal cull.
The Torn hit-maker has spoken out to back a drive by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to ban the annual slaughter of seals in the North American country.
Stars including Paul McCartney, Iggy Pop, and Ke$ha have already voiced their support for the campaign, and now Imbruglia has joined them.
She posted a link to PETA's website on her Twitter.com page and wrote, "Show love & compassion & pls (please) help PETA."
Thousands of seals are clubbed to death every year as they migrate from Greenland to give birth on Canada's ice floes.
