Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has opened up about the body issues she suffered at the start of her modeling career after she was ordered to slim down.
The British beauty began a career in front of the camera as a teenager and went on to land a lucrative contract with the Victoria's Secret lingerie brand before branching out into acting with a role in the new Transformers movie.
However, the slender star, 24, reveals she was asked to lose weight when she joined the industry and she struggled with her bosses' advice.
She tells Britain's Elle magazine, "When I started modeling, I was definitely heavier. I was quite voluptuous in fact. I had a real baby face and baby fat. But I was a baby! I was told I had to get into better shape, but I'm quite stubborn so I didn't. I can't remember a time where I really battled with my body, but I can remember being asked to lose weight and battling with the advice. It hurt me."
"Especially as my baby fat naturally melted away as I got older... You can (be) bullied as a young model, but there was a point where I found my voice, effectively."
