British hip-hop star Plan B is celebrating his Ivor Novello Awards success by releasing a reworked version of his hit "Hard Times," featuring Elton John.
The London-born star, real name Ben Drew, took home three top honors, including Songwriter of the Year, at the prizegiving ceremony on Thursday - and then announced plans to raise charity cash with Elton.
He released the revamped track on iTunes immediately after the Ivor Novellos gala.
Proceeds from the single, which also features singer Paloma Faith, will benefit relief charities in Pakistan and Japan.
Taking to his Twitter.com page to announce the release, Drew writes, "Hey peeps now i'v got ur attn (attention) & coz THREE is a magic number #theivors #theivors #theivors here's what i'm askin you to do... #1 #2 #3 ready?
