Gisele Bundchen's Bodyguards To Stand Trial Over Wedding Shooting
Three bodyguards who worked at Gisele Bundchen's 2009 wedding to Tom Brady are set to stand trial over allegations they shot at photographers during the event.
The Brazilian supermodel married the football star in a lavish ceremony in Costa Rica, but the couple's big day was marred by reports members of their security team opened fire on two photographers, Yuri Cortez and Rolando Aviles, who were taking unauthorized pictures of the celebrations.
The photographers claim the three men, Miguel Solis, Manuel Valverde and Alexander Rivas, shot at their car and shattered the rear window. The case went to court in Costa Rica on Friday and Judge Hernan Salazar ordered a trial, according to the Associated Press. A trial date has yet to be set.
The two photographers sued Bundchen and Brady following the alleged incident, but the lawsuit was dismissed by a judge in New York who ruled the case did not belong in a Manhattan courtroom as none of the involved parties lived there.
