Bone Thugs N Harmony Facing Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit

Bone Thugs N HarmonyThe stars of rap group Bone Thugs N Harmony are facing a $27 million lawsuit from a former associate who alleges he is owed royalties.

Roland Brown filed legal papers at a court in Cuyahoga County, Ohio on Thursday accusing the group of breach of contract for allegedly failing to pay him proceeds from an album by affiliated group, the Mo Thugs Family.

He claims to have written a number of songs on the band's 1996 Family Scriptures record and has named several record labels as plaintiffs, including Sony, Ruthless Records and Relativity, as well as each member of Bone Thugs N Harmony.

Brown is seeking $24 million in damages and $3 million in royalties, according to Allhiphop.com.

Several members of Bone Thugs N Harmony worked with Mo Thugs over the years, including Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone and Wish Bone, who all appeared on the group's 1998 album Chapter II: Family Reunion.
