Chace Crawford Strikes Deal In Marijuana Possession Case
Actor Chace Crawford has struck a deal with prosecutors in his drug possession case.
The Gossip Girl star was arrested in Texas last June after police found an unlit marijuana joint on the actor during a body search, but now Crawford has a chance to wipe his slate clean. If he stays out of trouble for a year, his case will be dismissed.
Crawford, who has agreed to a "pretrial diversion program," will have no criminal record of the misdemeanor charge as long as he meets certain criteria, reports TMZ.com.
Under the conditions, the actor must not engage in any criminal behavior for the next 12 months.
He also must complete 24 hours of community service and report to a probation officer once a month.
