Nicolas Cage's awful night out in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Friday began with a visit to a tattoo parlor.
The actor was arrested early on Saturday morning and charged with domestic abuse and disturbing the peace after a cab driver called the police to report an allegedly intoxicated Cage arguing with his wife in the street.
And now TMZ.com has obtained a surveillance video taken inside a tattoo shop just before Cage was picked up.
Arriving with his arms around two friends, Cage removes his jacket and sits for what appears to be a spur-of-the-moment tattoo.
His wife Alice Kim then enters the parlor, and the two appear to argue as she beckons for her husband to leave with her.
Cage was later detained by police after he was spotted arguing with Kim and booked on suspicion of offenses including domestic violence, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness.
The actor was freed on bail on Saturday afternoon after reality TV star and Cage fan Duane 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Chapman posted his $11,000 bond.
