Demi Lovato has heaped praise on Catherine Zeta-Jones' decision to seek help for bipolar disorder, calling the Welsh beauty "so brave" for turning to professionals.
The film star checked into a mental health facility in Connecticut last week to combat a serious bout of depression, after a tough year supporting her husband Michael Douglas through his throat cancer battle.
Lovato recently sought rehab treatment for an eating disorder, admitting she "basically had a nervous breakdown" - and now she has reached out to Zeta-Jones following news of her mental health battle.
The 18 year old declares she's "proud" of Zeta-Jones for taking the "difficult" step of seeking help - and hopes the star bounces back from the crisis.
In a post on her Twitter page, Lovato writes, "I don't know Catherine Zeta-Jones personally but what she has decided to do... SO brave... and SO difficult but worth it... I'm proud of her."
