Evan Rachel Wood was extra nervous when she stripped off for her first full frontal nude scene in Mildred Pierce - as she was ordered to wear a pubic wig.

The actress stars in the new 1930s-set mini-series opposite Kate Winslet and she was required to get completely naked for one saucy scene.

The Wrestler star admits she was scared of disrobing and attributes much of her nerves to the fact that she had to wear a pubic wig to make the scene more realistic.

She says, "Let's just say, I had to wear a wig because it was in the '30s, and everything had to look like it was in the '30s."
