Colombian actress Sofia Vergara wore a sexy beaded strapless dress to the NAACP Awards Friday night at L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium. The actress won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in hit ABC show Modern Family.

But the big winner of the night was Tyler Perry, whose latest film, For Colored Girls, took prizes for Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress (Kimberly Elise). Perry's TV show Tyler Perry's House of Payne won awards for Outstanding Comedy Series; and David Mann, star of Perry's Meet The Browns, was awarded Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series.

Other winners included Denzel Washington (The Book of Eli), Halle Berry (Frankie & Alice), Samuel L. Jackson (Mother and Child), Willow Smith and Regina King (Southland).
