Tough guy Vinnie Jones is embarrassed by what the star of his new TV drama "The Cape" drives to and from the set and only hopes the show becomes a big hit, so his pal can get a better vehicle.
Car fan Jones regularly taunts David Lyons about the battered black Wrangler Jeep he turns up to the set in, and thinks the star of the show should have a top-of-the-range vehicle.
Jones says, "It's ripped and it's dirty so I keep sort of letting him know by filling it up with the trash bins and putting signs on it saying, 'This car will be removed for safety reasons,' with cones around it.
"We keep pulling his leg about the fact that the lead guy on an NBC primetime show is driving around in this piece of c**p: 'Come on Dave, it's embarrassing. Please God if we get the next season we can all put some money in and buy you a decent truck!'
"I drive a Porsche or my Range Rover or I have a Harley Davidson. I don't drive around in a c**ppy old Wrangler Jeep that's worth about $600 bucks!"
