Rapper Lupe Fiasco's planned group collaboration with Kanye West and Pharrell Williams has been put on hold as a result of the Stronger hitmaker's joint album with Jay-Z.
West has been working on a new EP with the Empire State of Mind mogul called Watch The Throne, and the pair's first single, H.A.M., premiered online earlier this week.
But the highly-anticipated project has forced West to scale back his work with the supergroup he formed with Fiasco and Williams, Child Rebel Soldiers (CRS) - and now Fiasco fears they will never find the time to record together.
He says, "I think the Jay-Z/Kanye collabo kinda was like, 'Aww man, aww no.' Whenever we get to go in (the studio) and have the time and the opportunity to do it, we're always working on some other project. Pharrell gon' do a soundtrack for a movie, Kanye does another project."
Watch The Throne is expected to be released in March.
