Johnny KnoxvilleMoviemaker Peter Farrelly has fired back at reports "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville has replaced Jim Carrey in his "The Three Stooges" movie.

Farrelly insists he's yet to replace Carrey and Sean Penn in the comedy after both stars quit.

He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "You don't want people to think 'they already cast that thing,' because we haven't. It's wide open to everybody."
