Robert Pattinson To Replace Colin Farrell In 'Cosmopolis'
Robert Pattinson is stepping into Colin Farrell's shoes to play Marion Cottilard's husband in David Cronenberg's new thriller, "Cosmopolis."
The "Twilight" star has been cast as Eric Packer in the big screen adaptation of Don DeLillo's novel, about a multimillionaire asset manager who loses his fortune in 24 hours.
Farrell was forced to withdraw from the project after accepting the lead in the "Total Recall" remake following a series of delays.
Paul Giamatti has also been linked to "Cosmopolis."
Production is expected to begin in Toronto, Canada in May, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
