Foo Fighters ended their hiatus from live music by returning to the stage on Tuesday at a secret show in California.
The band took a break following the release of a greatest hits album last year and reunited this summer to work on their upcoming seventh studio record.
They sealed their comeback this week by taking to the stage at Paladino's nightclub in Tarzana, California for an intimate show in front of fans, friends and family members, as well as rumored new couple Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried.
The band debuted a number of new songs, including Dear Rosemary, White Limo and Back and Forth, and at one point frontman Dave Grohl shared the stage with his former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic, who has helped with the currently-untitled new album.
The pair played Marigold, a song written by Grohl for his former band, along with Foo Fighters regular and former Nirvana road guitarist Pat Smear.
