Lemmy Calls The Internet A 'Terrible Mistake'
Rock veteran Lemmy has blasted the internet as a "terrible mistake" - and is adamant it should be "taken away" to stop criminals using it to "rob people".
The Motorhead frontman has previously voiced his disdain for many aspects of modern technology and has vowed not to join the digital age by buying a computer.
Now he has taken aim at the internet for fuelling crime and the trade in child pornography - insisting humans cannot be trusted to use the web responsibly.
He tells Metal Hammer magazine, "The more I see of the internet, the more I think it's a terrible mistake. It's the greatest communication tool ever, but the human race use it to rob people and for child porn, which is f**king savage, isn't it? If that's all we can do with this thing then maybe it should be taken away from us."
