Claire Danes Returns To Television In 'Homeland'
Claire Danes is set to return to TV for the first time in 15 years.
The actress found fame in hit teen show My So-Called Life, which ran between 1994 and 1995, and she went on to make her mark in movies with a notable appearance in 1996's Romeo + Juliet.
Danes hasn't been seen in a small screen series since the end of My So-Called Life, but she is now set to return in a new drama called Homeland.
She has signed up to star as a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer in the show, which focuses on the story of an American soldier taken prisoner during the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
Homeland will be executive produced by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa, the brains behind hugely popular TV series 24, according to Deadline.com.
