Jailed rapper T.I. will face no further charges following his arrest for drugs possession in Los Angeles last month - the case has been dropped.
The star, real name Clifford Harris Jr., was taken into custody with his wife Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle after a traffic stop and they were booked for felony possession of a controlled substance.
The arrest came just nine months after T.I. completed a jail sentence on weapons possession charges, and, in a court hearing in his native Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, T.I.'s probation was revoked and he was locked up for a further 11 months.
The rapper faced further punishment as a result of the drug arrest but authorities have decided not to pursue charges. On paperwork obtained by TMZ.com the District Attorney reveals the charges were dropped in the "interests of justice."
