Gwyneth Paltrow To Make Her Live Singing Debut At The CMAs
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow will put her skills as a country singer to the ultimate test next month when she makes her live debut at the Country Music Association Awards.
Paltrow sings the title track from her upcoming drama, Country Strong, and now she's set to perform it on stage at the 44th annual ceremony - with the music genre's top stars watching her from the audience.
However, the Hollywood actress won't face the country crowd alone - she'll be joined on stage by legendary singer Vince Gill. Paltrow has previously admitted she was surprised by the positive feedback and praise she received for her singing voice.
She told Entertainment Weekly when Sony Music Nashville chair Joe Galante first heard her sing the track "he was like, 'I want to release this as the single," adding, "I was like, 'Excuse me please? What? What is going on?'"
The CMA Awards are scheduled to be broadcast on November 10th.
