The Incredible Hulk Mean, green superhero the Hulk is heading back to the small screen in a new TV series. The comic book creation was first brought to life in 1970s series The Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno, which was followed by a string of spin-off TV movies.

Dr. Bruce Banner and his monstrous alter-ego later transferred to the big screen with portrayals by Eric Bana and Edward Norton, while Mark Ruffalo is set to revive the character once again for upcoming movie The Avengers.

It has now been revealed that the Hulk is set for another outing in a new TV show, which is currently in development with bosses at Marvel and ABC network, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The series will be one of a number of superhero reboots, which will see Wonder Woman and The Punisher heading back to TV.
