Serenaded by a troop of musical dwarves, former American Idol judge Simon Cowell showed off his birthday present today: a brand new Ferrari. The music mogul seems to be pleased by the effort and attempt, but he deemed the performance to be a "little short."

Simon was recently commended for his charitable side - he paid for a trip to Disney World for a young cancer patient.  He's splashed out on a luxury flight, her hotel fees, and a day swimming with dolphins.  

Also, Simon Cowell is still recovering from when his style was mocked on his talent shows "The X Factor" and "American Idol," and recently landed in third with 21 percent, in the Worst Dressed Man in a WENN.com poll
