Claudia Schiffer is following in the footsteps of her supermodel pal Kate Moss by launching her own clothing line.

The German beauty has signed a deal to create her own fashion collection and she is preparing to launch the project next month.

Schiffer confirmed the news to WWD.com and revealed the range will hit shops in 2011.

Moss launched her own line with British firm TopShop, but the partnership is coming to an end this year.
