Lopez looks set to be officially announced as the TV talent show's new judge on Wednesday - and Noa could be one of the first wannabes she faces.
And, to make matters worse, the Cuban-American hopes to win over the audition judges by performing one of his ex's songs.
A spokesman for Noa tells WENN, "Ojani Noa wants to show Jennifer Lopez, that, despite the fact that she has called him a no-talent, that he really has talent like her!"
The insider claims Noa is preparing to join the thousands of Idol hopefuls who will compete for a spot in the upcoming season of the show at the Forum in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The source adds, "It will be interesting to see what she thinks of his performance."
Lopez and Noa are currently embroiled in a bitter court battle after the singer/actress won a bid to block Noa from releasing a film about his life because it reportedly contained raunchy footage of her.
