Jennifer Aniston is turning to her "Friends" for a career boost following her latest film flop "The Switch" - she'll appear opposite Courteney Cox in an upcoming episode of TV comedy "Cougar Town."
The actress will guest star on the show's second season premiere, which will air on September 22.
Executive producer Bill Lawrence reveals, "She's going to play Courteney's shrink, named Bonnie, who is a kinda get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist."
It's the second time best pals and former co-stars Cox and Aniston have teamed since Friends ended in 2004 - Aniston also made an appearance on Cox's show "Dirt" in 2007.
Lawrence is now campaigning to get Aniston to commit to more episodes: "We're very intentionally implying that it's a therapist Courteney has been using for a while and we're certainly not going to make it like they'll never see each other again, so I'm crossing my fingers that if she has a good time it'll happen again."
It won't be the first Friends reunion on the show - Lisa Kudrow played a rude doctor on an episode in the first season of the hit comedy.
Aniston needs a lift - "The Switch" opened in eighth place at the box office this weekend with a disappointing $8.1 million.
