David Hasselhoff To Host 'The Gulf Is Back' TV Special
David Hasselhoff has signed up to host a special TV show to pay tribute to the victims of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
The former Baywatch star will present the one-hour special, titled The Gulf Is Back, which will feature musical performances from acts including Brian McKnight, Lonestar, Taylor Hicks and Chris Massey.
The show will also include tributes to the residents of Mississippi and real life stories of those whose livelihood has been affected by the spill, which has caused havoc in areas along the Gulf Coast after a BP oil rig ruptured in April.
The show will be filmed over two days of free concerts at the Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi and will air on CW network on August 27th.
