Chris Isaak To Take Over 'American Idol' Judging Spot?
Singer Chris Isaak has emerged as the latest name to be considered as Simon Cowell's replacement on "American Idol."
The "Wicked Game" hitmaker has met with producers twice since Cowell quit the show in May, and now he has joined Harry Connick, Jr. and Bret Michaels among the favorites to take over the show's vacant judges chair.
Idol bosses insist no decision is imminent, but insiders expect the new judge to be named in September.
The Hollywood Reporter suggests Michaels is no longer in the running for Cowell's job after meeting with producers.
