A representative for Penelope Cruz has dismissed reports the actress is expecting her first child with new husband Javier Bardem.
 
Rumors of a baby began swirling after it was announced on Tuesday that the "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" co-stars had married in a small secret ceremony earlier this month after three years of dating.
 
Reports claimed the Spanish beauty would give birth to the couple's first child early next year.
 
But a spokesperson for Cruz tells EOnline.com the star is not pregnant.
 
She is currently shooting the upcoming action blockbuster "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" and a source tells the website, "It's not exactly the kind of movie you want to be doing if you're pregnant."
