Fabolous Caught Up In Club Shooting Investigation
Police in New York are reportedly looking to question hip-hop star Fabolous as part of an investigation into the killing of a young rapper - after video surveillance footage purportedly shows him leaving the Queens nightclub just moments before the shooting.
The hit-maker is said to have been caught on camera leaving Club Amazura in New York shortly before Greg 'G-Baby' Brown was blasted in the back in the nightspot by a mystery assailant. Brown later died from his injuries. Cops investigating the death are now hoping to talk to Fabolous - real name John Jackson - to find out if he saw anything that could help their inquiries, according to the New York Daily News.
G-Baby performed at the nightspot shortly before Fabolous took the stage, he was later shot in the back, while another man sustained injury to his groin but survived the incident.
After the shooting Fabolous took to his Twitter.com blog to express his sorrow over the killing, telling fans, "Lost a soldier in the field this morning. R.I.P. G Baby."
