Filipino singing sensation Charice has dismissed reports she's joining the cast of Glee - but she'd love to be considered for a role on the hit show.

The teenager, who was discovered by media mogul Oprah Winfrey, was said to have been offered a regular part on the upcoming second season of the musical series.

However, the 18 year old has denied the rumors, taking to her Twitter.com page to tell fans, "No. I'm not going to be on Glee. How I wish... Maybe my handler (agent) is confused."

The star found chart success in America after a fan posted one of Charice's performances online - sparking the interest of talk show queen Winfrey. She landed the number eight slot on last week's Billboard charts in the U.S. with sales of 42,985 for her self-titled debut.
