Jessica Simpson has returned to acting with a guest role in hit TV show Entourage.

The singer has supplemented her music career with a string of acting roles, including a turn in 2005 movie The Dukes of Hazzard and 2007's Blonde Ambition. She has also enjoyed a string of cameo appearances in That '70s Show.

Simpson has now revealed she's spent two days filming a guest slot in Entourage alongside Adrian Grenier and Jeremy Piven, reportedly playing herself.
 
The singer revealed the news in a post on her Twitter.com page. She writes, "I have the utmost respect for the entire cast and crew of Entourage! Thank you for making the past 2 days memorable."
