Taylor Swift And Carrie Underwood Lead CMT Nominations
Country stars Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are set to compete at the upcoming CMT Music Awards after scoring three nominations each.
Swift's promo for You Belong With Me will go up against Underwood's Cowboy Casanova in the Female Video of the Year category, while the two clips are also in competition for the Video of the Year prize alongside stars such as Keith Urban (Til Summer Comes Around), Brad Paisley (Welcome to the Future) and Toby Keith (American Ride).
The Love Story hit-maker also received a nod in the Collaborative Video of the Year for her duet with Kellie Pickler, Best Days of Your Life, while Underwood's Temporary Home earned her a place in the running for the CMT Performance of the Year award.
Underwood will face competition from Lady Antebellum (Lookin' For A Good Time), Reba McEntire (Consider Me Gone), Tim McGraw (Southern Voice) and Brad Paisley (Then).
The awards, which are voted for by country music fans, will be handed out at a ceremony on June 9th, hosted by Kid Rock.
