'Dreamgirls' Director Frontrunner To Direct Final 'Twilight' Films
The remaining two "Twilight" films are set to get a 'musical' twist - former Oscars boss and "Dreamgirls" director Bill Condon is in talks to take charge of the split "Breaking Dawn" movies.
Sources at film company Summit Entertainment have confirmed that Condon has emerged as a favorite to land the coveted director role.
EW.com reports Gus Van Sant, Mark Waters and Sofia Coppola were each considered - but Condon is now leading the pack.
If reports are true, Condon will spend the next year in Vancouver, Canada shooting the "Breaking Dawn" film.
As a result, the moviemaker's "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" has now been put on hold.
