Teenager Arrested For Susan Boyle Break-In
A teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with a break-in at Susan Boyle's home in January.
The singing star was stunned to discover a man lurking inside her West Lothian, Scotland house on January 26 as she returned from a trip to London.
She immediately called police who detained a suspect in connection with the incident.
And now a 16-year-old boy has been charged by cops in relation to the disturbance, according to a police spokesperson.
A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police says, "A 16-year-old youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft that happened at a property in Yule Terrace, Blackburn, on 26 January."
The case will now be referred to the Children's Reporter, a Scottish government body to protect children at risk, whose officials will decide whether further action will be taken.
