Long Time Hall & Oates Bassist Tom 'T-Bone' Wolk Dies

Tom T-Bone WolkRevered bassist Tom Wolk died of an apparent heart attack on Saturday night, just days before he was scheduled to join longtime pals Daryl Hall and John Oates on late-night TV.

Wolk, 58, played bass for Hall & Oates for almost 30 years and was due to join the duo for an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Monday.

He recorded with Bette Midler, Carly Simon, Elvis Costello and Billy Joel and also played bass on Kurtis Blow's rap classic "These Are the Breaks", according to Billboard.com.
