Grey's Anatomy actress Leven Rambin has defended her decision to become engaged at the age of 19 - insisting she's not "too young" to settle down.

The teenager has been dating film producer Geoff Clark since last year, and she accepted his proposal during a romantic stroll on the beach in the Bahamas over the holidays.

And Rambin, who turns 20 in May, is adamant she's making the right decision to marry her lover.

She tells People.com, "I don't think I'm too young. I've had a very full life. As a Christian, I think it's really important to find a man of God to trust and be supportive of me. I've never met anyone like Geoff... Little did (he) know that I was praying for him to propose I knew I wanted it to happen."
