Ex-Baywatch babe Nicole Eggert piled on the pounds after falling into a deep depression following her father's death and an allegedly abusive relationship with DJ Lethal. The blonde beauty is currently appearing on reality show Celebrity Fit Club in a bid to shed the weight she put on after losing her dad Ralph to cancer, according to her mother Georgina.

Georgina tells RadarOnline.com, "When her father died it took a lot out of her. It's been two years, but she was really bummed out and stressed about her dad. She spent a lot of time in bed. On anybody else the weight gain wouldn't have been as noticeable. She wasn't really that heavy, but she was on Baywatch and everyone expected her to still be that. She's not 18 anymore."

And Eggert's mom admits the actress' tumultuous relationship with House of Pain star DJ Lethal, real name Leor Dimant, also left her feeling low.

Georgina adds, "He was not nice to her. I wish she would find someone. It's always a mother's wish for their daughter to find someone, but she's happy. I think now she just wants to be able to live and feed her daughter, and she's doing a great job."

In 2008, Eggert filed papers alleging Dimant subjected her to repeated physical violence during their relationship.
