Funk legend George Clinton is in mourning following the death of his son, according to reports. The body of George Clinton, Jr. was discovered at his home in Tallahassee, Florida on February 1st, reports EurWeb.com.

The 50 year old appeared to have died from natural causes, with a police spokesperson quoted as saying, "Barring any finding by the Medical Examiner's Office, our investigation is complete."

Clinton, Jr. is survived by his daughter, Shonda, who performs under the name Sativa.

It's the second tragic loss for funk star Clinton, 68, in recent months - his beloved mother Julious G. Keaton passed away in December.
