British actress Jennifer Ellison is "delighted" after giving birth to her first son. The Cottage star and her boxer husband Rob Tickle welcomed baby Bobby, the couple's first child, on Thursday.

The new arrival weighed in at nine pounds.

A statement from Ellison's publicist reads, "Jennifer Ellison and her husband, Robert Tickle, are delighted to announce the birth of their first child, Bobby."

Ellison married Tickle in a secret ceremony in Mauritius last October.
