British glamor model Katie Price has wed her cage fighter boyfriend in Las Vegas, less than a year after splitting from husband Peter Andre. The reality TV star and Alex Reid exchanged vows in a secret ceremony at the Wynn resort in Sin City on Tuesday afternoon.

A statement from the couple reads, "We are very much in love and look forward to the future together. We can’t wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who we know fully support our wishes."

Price's spokesperson has dismissed reports the couple wed as part of a publicity stunt, insisting, "Their decision to marry has not been made with any pre-conceived commercial plan or media deal in place and their reason for getting married is purely down to their love for each other."

The wedding comes just days after Reid triumphed on British reality show "Celebrity Big Brother" - he was named the winner of the star-studded challenge on Friday after fighting off competition from Vinnie Jones, Stephanie Beacham and Stephen Baldwin.

The newlyweds began dating last summer.

It is believed the couple will begin married life with an extended stay in Las Vegas - and they may even attend an Ultimate Fighting Championship event in Sin City on Saturday.
