Lost star Evangeline Lilly has left fans stunned after revealing she plans to quit acting once the desert island drama ends in May.

The actress, who also appears in Oscars favorite The Hurt Locker, admits she wants to "drop off the radar" when the show ends - and she might not return to Hollywood.

She insists she definitely won't be planning any more acting roles for the foreseeable future.

She tells Eonline.com, "Acting is something I appreciate, and I think it's been an amazing experience, but I'm not passionate about acting the way you probably should be to call yourself an actor. I want to have some quiet space... and enjoy a little bit of normalcy again (before deciding what's next)."

Lilly reveals that her first priority will be to take part in charity work in Rwanda.
