Axl Rose Pulls A Kurt Cobain
Late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was wheeled onto the Reading stage by music journalist Everett True, pretending to be fresh out of the hospital.
On Thursday night, Rose pulled the same trick onstage at the Air Canada Center.
The "Paradise City" singer and his band didn't hit the stage until 11:30pm - two hours later than scheduled.
Rose explained, "Sorry abut the time delay. I got carried away jumping off s--t last night."
He then leapt from the wheelchair and launched into the title track from Guns N' Roses' latest album, "Chinese Democracy".
Rose dedicated the group's "Catcher In The Rye" to author J.D. Salinger, who died the day before the show.
