MetallicaPolice in Virginia fear skeletal remains found on a farm in the state are those belonging to missing Metallica fan Morgan Harrington, who went missing after a concert last year.

Investigators have yet to confirm the remains are those of the missing 20 year old. A press conference was scheduled for late Tuesday afternoon to determine if the remains that a local farmer discovered about six miles from the site of her disappearance are those of Harrington. The farm is approximately 15 minutes outside Charlottesville.

Reports list the remains as being a young, blond woman wearing dark clothing.

At press time, Harrington's parents were understood to be on their way to the scene to identify the body.

Once news that Harrington broke, members of Metallica joined in the hunt for the Virginia Tech University student after she disappeared following one of their concerts in Charlottesville, Virginia back in October, and even offered a $50,000 reward for information about her whereabouts.
