Taiwanese Man Dies During 'Avatar' Screening
Doctors have determined he suffered a stroke, most likely caused by over-excitement, reports London's Metro newspaper. An emergency room medic says, "It's likely that the over-excitement from watching the movie triggered his symptoms."
The Oscar-tipped film has captivated movie-goers around the globe, quickly becoming the second most successful film of all time, behind Cameron's 1997 epic Titanic.
However, its release has also attracted criticism, particularly in U.S., where the right wing has attacked its anti-military storyline, and the Vatican, where Catholic leaders accuse the film of promoting the worship of nature.
