Benji Madden has cooled off his romance with former Playboy playmate Holly Madison after tiring of life in Las Vegas. The Good Charlotte rocker prompted rumors he was dating Hugh Hefner's ex in December after they were spotted showing public displays of affection in Madden's hometown of Los Angeles and in Sin City, where the busty blonde is starring in Vegas revue Peepshow.

Reports suggested the couple had been keeping the relationship under wraps prior to stepping out in public together, but now the sparks have allegedly died down and the stars are going their separate ways.

A source tells Star magazine, "Benji had been flying and driving out to Vegas to spend as much time as possible with her. But he's getting sick of the Vegas lifestyle - plus now he really needs to be in L.A. Don't expect them to spend Valentine's together. It's a shame, but that's just not going to happen."

Madden previously dated socialite Paris Hilton, while Madison was briefly linked to illusionist Criss Angel following her split from Hefner in 2008.
