Former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day toasted the New Year at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego's swanky 207 nightclub on Thursday, December 31. (More pics after the jump...)

The pop starlet checked into her swanky Rock Star suite with puppies Ginger and Mary Ann hours before her midnight performance for 4,000 fans visiting the hotel for its NYE 2010 bash.



2009 was a busy year for Aubrey, after baring all for PETA with her former band-mates in late 2008 the singer decided to take it all off again for Playboy magazine, a move that reportedly earned her a whopping $500,000. She celebrated her 25th birthday by showing off the pics at her party in Las Vegas.

In June she was mugged on her way to a TV Guide photo shoot in Los Angeles; and in August she let the world know a little too much about her "personal" grooming habits.

A September appearance on "The Sean Hannity Show" caused quite a stir for Aubrey, when she called Hitler & Castro "brilliant". Next, she canceled appearing in the acclaimed Las Vegas burlesque performance "Peepshow", and oddly enough it was over leaked nude photos from the show. In a similarly ironic move, she went on to post numerous risque photos of herself on her Twitter page.

And in another somewhat ironic move, she was criticized in October for dyeing one of her dogs pink, an odd move considering her prior relationship with PETA. But later in the month she considered getting out of the music business altogether indirectly blaming Diddy, who created Danity Kane, for her woes.
